The Steel family established Pacific Insurance Brokers in 1982, opening offices in both the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
In 1993 Steel Pacific Insurance Brokers was established in Maroochydore and in 1995 our operations in the islands were sold to Bain Hogg (now Aon Group) to enable the establishment of an office in Townsville which was completed in 1996.
To meet growing demand a Mackay office was established in 2003. In response to exceptional growth, further expansion in the central Queensland Coast lead to the purchases of Sugar City Insurance & Financial Services in Mackay in 2008, Don McDonald Insurance Pty Ltd in 2009, Wagemakers in 2010 and Styles & Herman in 2012.
